In my room lying on my bed
the air is heavy, hot, and still
lady luck has left me or i’m under the wings of destiny
which is true i wait for time to tell
I dream that fog surrounds me
i dream this on a restless summer night
it cloaks- it’s all around me

you see this fog it frees me
when no one else can see me i can hide
i lie awake and dream that fog rolls in
My mind roams cross-oceans and years
the time being’s become a dead end
last time i rolled the dice there flashed the eyes of a snake
so i sit and wait for my time to come round again
